![]() ![]() Lance tweeted this because people thought he was lying about the internal build. This is an internal PC build for testing and as Lance says Bloodborne has an internal PC build that was never planned for public release. ![]() Even though it does some things differently (memory is shared between GPU and CPU, for example), it should be much easier to translate than the PS3's notoriously complex Cell processor. As the title says can anyone give me a good emulator to play Bloodborne and possibly demons souls PS3. For clarification since OP doesnt clarify this does not mean news on Bloodborne is coming. The PS4's x86 architecture is essentially the same as a modern PC's. There are reasons to be optimistic here, though: RPCSX is being led by the same programmer who started RPCS3, with a couple other longtime RPCS3 contributors also on board. Since RPCSX is just getting started, it could be a year or more before games so much as boot, let alone run smoothly. RPCS3 has been in development for a decade, and still 30% of the games in the PS3's library "either can't be finished, have serious glitches or have insufficient performance" in the emulator. It's also unknown when it will become possible," says the Github page. "This is an experimental emulator for PS4 written in C++ for Linux. Should be made as a different game, instead of trying to clone the game it does not try to understand. There are several reasons to temper your expectations here, including the fact that RPCSX currently isn't being built for Windows. If it works, this seems like it would be the better option for maintaining a stable framerate at 1080p, and resolution scaling might even let you scale. According to dev logs, though, BB is very playable on the latest PCSX4 releases. It's pretty and technologically advanced, no doubt about that. I know Lance Mcdonald uploaded the 60 fps patch, and it seems like it's intended for use with a jailbroken PS4. Atmosphere and gameplay are very different in remake(armor weight?, darkness? horror?). This way newcomers get relevant info quickly. Should mention the option of streaming the game via PS+, official statements by Sony (or the lack of) and state of PS4 emulation (it being in its infancy). Maybe you where hoping for bigger changes, like the Dragon God boss fight to change to an actual boss fight? Yeah, there's a missed opportunity, but how is it a horrible remake if it stays true to the original in terms of gameplay? I like graphics, but it doesn't mean much for me in games. Maybe it's time for a pinned post with information about the state of Bloodborne on PC. They kept the level design true to the original and only implemented new assetts and stuff, where it doesn't interfere with the player's path by comparison to the original (like carving out a wall for shelfs etc.). Have you ever taken a look into the making of the remake? The sound design is so visceral and heavy, it even surpasses Fromsoft's work, in my mind. There are only a few art style decisions one could subjectivly argue over, but animations alone are exceptionally well done and found no where else in the industry. The remake enhances all aspects of the game. ![]() The only reason why one might want to play DS Remake is if he wants another Souls-like. If they'd give BB to Bluepoint - I won't be playing such game. Lance McDonald, AKA ManFightsDragon, AKA the guy who’s known for data mining games like P.T., Bloodborne, and the Dark/Demon Souls series for cut or hidden content. You can think of it as translating languages. Just googled it for you: Port number required to connect Bloodborne’s online servers: TCP: 18671, 20443. The PS4 uses a x86 processor, which is the same type of processor used in almost every PC, which means that theoretically emulation of the PS4 should be easier.
